It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, not the holidays - fall! At Harney & Sons, we welcome the onset of cooler weather with open arms. While we love spending our summer days sipping iced tea by the lake or on our front porch, there is nothing better than wrapping your body in a warm sweater and your hands around a mug of your favorite fall-flavored tea. We have the classics you love like Hot Cinnamon Spice and have added a couple of newbies to our lineup this year we think you’ll enjoy. Read on to learn about our autumn tea flavors, stock up on your favorites or find a new one to love!
African Autumn Tea
Our African Autumn tea is caffeine-free, loaded with antioxidants and packed with cranberry and citrus flavors. Herbal rooibos is combined with hibiscus, cranberry flavor, orange flavor and peel to create one popular herbal blend. A legume native to South Africa, rooibos is oxidized, which changes the color to red and looks similar to the red of "black" tea when brewed.
Hot Apple Spice
One of our newest additions, Hot Apple Spice is a bright, autumnal blend of strong black tea and delicious fruity flavors. Hot Apple Spice bursts with the sweetness of apples ripened in the orchard, cinnamon, orange peel and ground cloves for a sweet, warming brew with just a touch of spice.
Hot Cinnamon Spice
Our most popular tea by far, Hot Cinnamon Spice is a no-brainer during these cooler months. Our Hot Cinnamon Spice tea is an assertive blend of black teas, three types of cinnamon, orange peel and sweet cloves. Did we mention it’s sugarfree? If you are new to spice teas, this is a great blend to start with!
Apple Cinnamon
Reminiscent of fall in New England, Apple Cinnamon is a comforting black tea blend created by Emeric Harney, grandson of John Harney. If you enjoy sipping on a glass of warm apple cider, you’ll love this tea created to celebrate the beauty and flavors of fall.
Cranberry Autumn
Cranberry Autumn is a black tea artfully blended with cranberries, hibiscus, orange pieces and cranberry and orange flavors to create a full-bodied brew that is exceptionally smooth and delicious during the fall. Fans love it for its fruity flavor and intoxicating aroma.
Mulled Plum Cider
Still rather new to the Harney tea lineup, our Mulled Plum Cider blend is rich in warm spices and packed with flavor. Plum and apple pieces are enhanced with spicy ginger and cinnamon to draw out their natural essence. The smoky flavor of cardamom pods and whole cloves take this rooibos-based tea to the next level. We love brewing a cup of this after dinner and adding a splash of milk for a marvelous dessert.
Pumpkin Spice
A classic fall flavor, no autumn tea roundup would be complete without a mention of our ever-popular Pumpkin Spice tea. If Starbucks’ PSL is too sweet for you, you’ll love this herbal blend of pumpkin flavors and spices. Bright red in color, you'll find this brew sports a light body that will warm you up inside and out. If you’ve been wanting to try this one, we recommend you hurry! This flavor is only offered seasonally in limited quantities.

Your African Autumn is my all time favorite tea! These flavors evoke the crisp air and delightful scents of the season, just in description. Must order some of the apple flavors, they sound fantastic.

I was just arranging my tea supplies yesterday. Autumn is definitely tea time. I love to make a bigger pot to pour from all day long. Black, green and herbal for evening. Luckily hot cinnamon comes in each kind. Yesterday I had lingonberry, ahhhhh!
