What is Floral Tea?
You can probably guess by the name that floral teas have some sort of tie to flowers. Most teas are centered on the tea leaf, however, floral blends get their distinct flavors by being infused with flowers, either as the primary ingredient or blended with traditional tea leaves.
Floral teas can be categorized into two main types: pure floral tisanes and floral-infused teas. Pure floral tisanes are caffeine-free herbal infusions made solely from flowers like chamomile, hibiscus, or lavender. Whereas floral-infused teas are blends of tea leaves with fresh or dried flowers, such as jasmine green tea or rose black tea. Both categories offer a delicate, fragrant, and often soothing experience, making them popular among tea lovers worldwide.
Will You Accept This Rose?
For centuries, the rose flower has been cherished in traditional Chinese medicine. It has long been believed that roses have a gentle yet effective impact on the body’s energy, helping to regulate emotions, promote circulation, and support overall well-being. It is often used to soothe the liver and relieve stagnation, which can manifest as stress, irritability, or digestive discomfort.
Rose tea is particularly valued for its ability to harmonize the body and mind, which is why we love incorporating rose petals and rosebuds into our blends. The rose is rich in antioxidants, subtly sweet, and brings just a touch of natural tartness.
