There’s nothing like the taste of fresh strawberries in the summer…which is why we decided to pair them with matcha, some cream and ice for a perfect summertime sip!
Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte
Be sure to plan ahead and make your matcha ice cubes the night before so they have time to freeze.
Ingredients:
Frozen Matcha Ice Cubes
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 6 oz. oat milk
Sweetened Matcha
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tsp agave
- 6 oz. oat milk
Strawberry Sweet Cream
- 2-3 medium strawberries
- 2 oz. heavy cream
- 1 oz. milk
- 1 tsp agave
Directions:
Matcha Ice Cubes
- In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder.
- Pour in hot (175º) milk and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk until dissolved and slightly foamy on top.
- Pour into an ice cube mold and freeze overnight.
Strawberry Sweet Cream
- In a small blender, blend together strawberries, heavy cream, milk and sweetener for 5-10 seconds until the consistency resembles melted ice cream.
Sweetened Matcha
- In a small bowl, sift in matcha powder.
- Pour in hot milk and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk until dissolved and slightly foamy on top.
- Stir in agave while it's still warm.
Matcha Latté
- Fill a glass about ¾ full with matcha ice cubes. Pour in matcha.
- Pour strawberry sweet cream on top of the matcha latte and give it a gentle stir to blend the layers into a gradient.
