While making tea can be achieved almost anywhere with simple ingredients, there are some niceties – some would say necessities – to brewing a perfect pot, a magnificent mug and a comforting cup. If it suits you, that pot, mug or cup might allow you to show your Harney pride. Or, perhaps you, or a friend, might be grateful for a time-saving gadget. If so we offer an inspiring collection, from basics to advanced tea accessories to enhance your tea-making prowess.
Cookies
What’s tea without a sweet or two? Made with the finest-quality ingredients, Walkers Shortbread cookies are buttery, delicious, and a classic tea time treat. Did we mention they come in an adorable Scottie dog shape? Doesn’t get much better than that.
Kettle
Whether you boil your water in a traditional kettle or like to try the latest tea technologies, no dedicated tea lover can do without this tiny kettle. We love the Bonavita Mini Electric Travel Kettle because it is compact and fast-boiling.
Tagalong Tins
Filled with 5 silken sachets, these miniature tins come in a variety of flavors so you always have your favorite tea on hand. Keep one of these little guys in your purse, briefcase or car and always be ready for a cuppa.
Tea Infuser
If you prefer loose tea, an infuser is essential. We love this For Life Brew-In-Mug Infuser because it is extremely versatile and can brew anything from fine Rooibos to leafy Oolong. Bonus: It comes with a lid to keep your tea hot that doubles as a coaster when you remove the infuser.
Mug
This sturdy, ceramic mug is perfect for you or for giving. The classic white color will never go out of style and it holds a whopping 15 ounces of your favorite brew. What could be more satisfying than sharing matching mugs of tea with a friend? Better buy two.
Warmer
If you boil your water in a traditional teapot, you know how frustrating it can be to come back to find it has gotten cold right before your second cup. Buy a teapot warmer and never worry about having a cold brew again.
Harney & Sons Tote Bag
Show your Harney & Sons pride and carry your tea essentials anywhere! Artfully designed, this durable, cotton travel bag is made in Brooklyn, NY, and showcases the names of our most popular teas. You can keep it stocked and ready for your next tea adventure.

I also use tea cosies all the time. Every morning, I brew a pot of tea by first warming the tea pot with hot water, then putting a tea cosy on the pot as the tea is brewing. I find that the cosy works very well to keep the tea warm for a few hours, while I enjoy cup after cup. I make my own cosies and have them in different fabrics to match the seasons.

I absolutely recommend a cup/mug warmer. I purchase them after Christmas when they have been marked down so I always have spares on hand. I have one in my craft area, sewing room, family room and bedroom. They also make great gifts for tea/coffee drinking friends. I also love Harney and sons teas. While I prefer the sachets, all of their teas are exceptionally delicious. I also enjoy Darjeeling and and Constant Comment teas. The Tagalong Tins are a most wonderful way to try new flavors and are also a lovely addition to mug warmer gift with a pretty cup or mug.

I boil water in my kettle on the stove. My tea cools down too fast for my liking. I wonder if a mug warmer would be worth buying.
