In 2001, I took a trip to Tokyo to find great tea suppliers. The luck of the Irish was with me, as I luckily found 2 great families to source tea from and we continue to get some of the best teas made in Japan from them. When I walked about Tokyo with my wife Brigitte, we went to the gardens of the Imperial Palace. I was happy to see that tea plants grew there. See them in the photo attached.
When I designed Tokyo, in honor of that trip, I wanted to embrace the aesthetic I found there, that less is more. So I created a subtle blend of toasted sesames and natural caramel flavor.

The first time I tried your tea, was it Oregon from the Dutch Bros, absolutely delicious, I had “Paris” it was the most enjoyable cup of tea I’ve had in a long time.
Have been a tea drinker all my life. I will definitely be
ordering when I’m back in Ontario, Canada Thank you
