Welcome to our Schitt’s Creek Collection, where everybody fits in! We’re so excited to offer this limited edition line of teas, featuring blends inspired by the iconic and much-loved TV series, Schitt’s Creek, created by Dan and Eugene Levy and licensed by ITV Studios. Bébés, this ones for you!
For fans of the series, we know there’s no need to explain what the show’s about because you’re already frantically putting the teas in your carts before they’re gone! For those who aren’t familiar with the show, the basic premise is this: the immensely wealthy Rose family – patriarch Johnny, his wife Moira, and their two children, Alexis and David – have lost their family fortune and empire. The only thing they have to fall back on is the small town of Schitt’s Creek, which Johnny purchased as a joke gift for David several years prior. The Roses must move into the humble Rosebud Motel and make a significant life adjustment as they get to know the locals…who can be rather, umm, unconventional.
The three primary Schitt’s Creek locations serve as the inspiration for our three teas: the Rosebud Motel where the Roses are staying and will call home for six years; Café Tropical, run by the likable but quirky Twyla; and the Rose Apothecary, a retail business started by David Rose and his partner, Patrick. As we began working on these blends – or to use Schitt’s Creek parlance, “folding in the cheese” – here’s what we came up with.
Rosebud Motel Continental Breakfast. This black tea with cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla is the perfect representation of Johnny’s cinnamon rolls made fresh for the guests – or whoever got to them first – every morning at the Motel.
Rose Apothecary Botanical Blend. A blend truly suited for the shelves of David and Patrick’s store, you’ll enjoy the wellness elements of this herbal tea with lemon balm, chamomile, spearmint, and lavender. Whether you call it pretentious or timeless is up to you (but we hope the latter!).
Café Tropical Tropical Green. It’s not Twyla’s Meadow Harvest Smoothie, but it’s as close as we could come since Twy made up the ingredients every day! Channel your inner Twyla with this green tea with pineapple flavor.
These unique blends and the tins we created to house them will be near and dear to all Schitt’s Creek fans’ hearts. We’re so excited to share them with devoted SC followers and those new to the show. To launch the collection, we created a Rose Apothecary of our own!
