Details: We recently visited Amba, which we consider a little gem. Simon Bell runs a lovely experiment there. Amba Ceylon comes from a group of Sri Lankan men and women who make very interesting handmade teas. Your purchase and enthusiasm for Amba teas helps support their livelihood. We're proud to offer it and think you'll enjoy its citrus flavor and subtle floral notes.
Dry Leaves: Dark leaves with tea flowers scattered throughout. Since it is hand-rolled, the leaves are not as tightly twisted as with most other teas.
Liquor: A medium-brown liquor with orange hues.
Aroma: There are notes of honey, citrus, and dried fruit, with hints of mango and marzipan.
Flavors: The citrus flavors combine with some sweetness, like liquorice and honey. There are some subtle floral notes.
 Caffeine Level: Caffeinated
Body: Light-bodied, due to its big leaves.
 Brewing Time: 4 minutes
 Brewing Temp: 212º
